Happy 2016 everyone! I hope you all had a restful Christmas and New Year. After spending almost a month in Europe, I arrived back in Asia just in time to welcome 2016 feeling rejuvenated and ready to face the challenges ahead.
Speaking of challenges, I thought I’d start off this New Year post with something that I’ve always found to be a bit of a challenge. Stripes. I’ve always felt a little ambivalent towards stripes. I have seen women who wear stripes and look amazing, but I’ve always felt unsure about wearing them myself. I used to think that I was too short to carry off stripes. The people I’ve seen looking good in stripes tend to be quite tall and lithe and I, well if you’ve seen me in person, you’ll realise that I’m fairly petite, hence my hesitation towards anything stripey. This year however, I want to be more adventurous and experimental with trying out new fashion styles and not just stick to what I’m comfortable with, so Josh and I did a quick photo shoot where I styled two striped tops. A comfortable and casual weekend look, and a slightly more sleek and dressed up look.
